Super vintage industrial light with adjustable base, options for clip and or table lamp.  This characterful lamp used to belong to “Bob”, according to the painted markings on the shade. It has a lovely patina showing the scuffs and wear of a busy life.
Telecom or BT commissioned many of their own design of lights and tools including this Telecom AUL 88 model. The clever design incorporates a sprung clamp for fixing to a shelf or bench as well as adjustable feet as a free standing table lamp.
Cleaned and rewired with new lamp holder and flex. The original protective cage was missing and has also been renewed with a copper coloured mesh to maintain the originality of the design.
Bob has a mate, the identical lamp though in a far less worn condition, also rewired, and would make a perfect pair.
